The port of Marciana Marina consists of a breakwater pier with artificial tetrapod blocks and mooring docks equipped with floating pontoons for boat docking (with mooring rings and deadweights), as well as a secondary lee-side pier.

The seabed depth near the breakwater ranges from 4 to 8 meters, while within the port it varies between 2 and 8 meters.

When entering the port, vessels must maintain a maximum speed of 3 knots. A current meter, used for studying water currents inside the port, is marked by an orange buoy located approximately 200 meters away on a bearing of 090° from the green light beacon.
