Description
The bakery was founded in 1908 by Elettra Provenzali and her husband Antonio Murzi. To this day, his initials “A.M.” are still embedded in the historic facade.
It was later passed down to their daughter Ida, a gifted poet, who ran it for many years with her husband Nilo Mazzei. Nearly twenty years ago, the business was handed down to their third son, Giandomenico, who renamed it “Da Ida” in honor of his mother. He now runs it together with his two eldest sons, Riccardo and Zion, and his nephew Tommaso.
A family tradition of bakers that has lasted 117 years and been passed down through four generations.
