Description

Founded in 1973, the Circolo della Vela Marciana Marina (CVMM) is an amateur sports association affiliated with the Italian Sailing Federation, recognized by CONI, and actively committed to promoting maritime culture, sailing practice, and environmental protection.

Over its fifty years of activity, the Club has successfully combined its sporting vocation with a strong connection to the social and territorial context of Marciana Marina.

In addition to offering mooring, storage, and nautical assistance services to its members, the CVMM is known for its Sailing School, active year-round and open to children, teenagers, and adults, with courses ranging from beginner to advanced and competitive activities.

The Club regularly organizes national and international regattas, cultural meetings, environmental awareness activities, events related to scuba diving and rowing, serving as a reference point for residents, tourists, and sea enthusiasts.

Its historic headquarters, overlooking the seafront, hosts an operational office, spaces for training and socializing, as well as docks for mooring for members and transient boats.

The CVMM has always stood as a stronghold of values: sportsmanship, inclusion, intergenerational collaboration, and respect for the sea — elements that make it a living and shared heritage of the Elban community.
