Il Cantinone – A Historic Establishment Since 1948. Il Cantinone has been a historic landmark in Marciana Marina since 1948. From its founding until 1975, it supplied Elban wine to Tuscany and Liguria using the famous Leudi—traditional cargo boats that departed from the port of Marciana Marina loaded with barrels.
Our shop continues the tradition of offering the finest wines produced on the island of Elba, including Aleatico passito, Moscato passito, and a wide selection of table wines such as Procanico, Ansonica (both table and passito versions), Vermentino, Rosato, Elba Rosso, and Elba Bianco.
We also offer the famous Schiaccia Briaca, a traditional Elban dessert.
You can find us at Viale Regina Margherita 74, where you can admire the Tower of Marciana Marina, built during the time of barbarian invasions and still perfectly preserved today.
